  • The latest release of Altair Feko includes support for automation of realistic 5G envelope beam patterns through an API and improved terrain propagation models. When coupled with features such as a new hybrid ray-tracing approach and more accurate consideration of effects - such as rotating doppler effects and localized ray effects for ray-based solvers - more accurate and reliable propagation, radiation and coupling simulation results can be achieved.
  • In the latest release, more application-specific and advanced post-processing tools (such as analysis of FM-CW radar simulations targeting ADAS applications) can be used in an automated fashion through an API. The capabilities of Altair Feko when considering sensor types such as ultrasound sensors and infrared sensors have been extended, allowing more types of sensors in the connected world to be included in simulation.

Altair PollEx greatly expands its design verification, signal integrity (SI) and PCB modeling functionalities. Cross probe verification now includes DFx Excel results as well as a direct ECAD link to Pulsonix and Altium Designer, the latter also supported via the free PollEx for Altium tool which has been recently released.
